Principle: Confidentiality & Data Protection
SDRecover is a native macOS desktop application. All scanning, file analysis, image previews, and data recoveries run strictly locally on your Mac. Your files and directory trees are never uploaded to remote cloud servers.
1. Application Data Handling
No Content Tracking: SDRecover does not collect, transmit, or monitor the contents, filenames, or directory structures of your memory cards.
Full Disk Access: Full Disk Access is granted to the SDRecover app.
It is used solely so SDRecover can read the selected storage medium in a read-only manner (/dev/rdisk*); a privileged helper service performs that raw I/O on behalf of the app.
2. Order & License Processing
Purchases of SDRecover Pro are processed through Stripe Managed Payments (merchant of record: Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin 2, Ireland).
During payment, Stripe collects billing details (name, email address, billing address, payment method) for payment processing and tax calculation. After a successful payment you receive your license key (on the confirmation page and by email).
3. Website Hosting & Server Logs
This website does not use tracking cookies or marketing pixels. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) are recorded solely to ensure operational stability and security.
